There is nothing better than reading an article about first-hand knowledge about buying property in Cyrpus, unless that writer is a real jackass who thinks he his God's gift to writing.
John M. originally wrote a mediocre article about his own personal experiences in purchasing property in Cyrpus. But for some reason this wanker thought that we were stealing his writing without permission, as there was an error in the coding for a link to his home page. So we thought we would replace John M's Cyprus property article with this nonsense instead.
We were going to repair the Cyprus property-buying article with proper credit to the author, as it seems that either our RSS reader didn't read the .html code properly or the article provider didn't supply it in the right format.
But the author, John M., turned out to be a real asshole, and demanded that we remove his article about his magnificent accounts in property investment on the island of Cyprus, which I thought was still dangerous to visit, because of the agressions between the Greeks and the Cypriots, but hey, maybe they worked it all out.
So, instead of gaining valuable Cyprus real estate experience from the intrepid and much-traveled John M., a British dolt who fancies himself not only a Cyrpus property guru, but also an expert on Mediterranean property financing, you get to read this rambling rant from a a person who has never been to Cyrpus, let alone considered purchasing property on Cyprus. In fact, unless I were to be forced at gunpoint by Cypriot mercenaries to buy a piece of land and develop it, I would probably never consider any real estate investment in that part of the world. If I had bags and bags of cash, I would certainly spend more time traveling around Europe, and yes, even the Mediterranean, but probably not Cyrpus. My friend Rick, was in the Canadian Armed Forces, and was stationed in Cyrpus as a peacekeeper. He said that it wasn't a pleasant experience, and he spent all his paychecks in Aya Napa.
You'd think that John M. had more important things to do with his time than to see how many websites are publishing his unimportant accounts about Cyrpus and Cyprus property purchasing, when he could be spending more time learning how to write properly, or learning the value of proofreading. Hell, if he's making so much money in the European property market, he could pay a professional writer to write articles for him!
It's sad really that it I never really took the time to promote this Cyrpus property article on Modest Houses (dot) com, and that it seems the only person to actually see this article was probably John M. And what a fuss! And it's ironic that now that I've taken five minutes to re-write the Cyrpus property article into a personal attack on a man who thought it necessary to threaten legal action on us, even though we are fully aware that he's in another country and would probably have to sell his property in Cyrpus to pay for legal counsel to represent him in our country to enforce a copyright law that would go no further than a cease and desist letter at the most, we'll probably get more hits.
Poor John M. I hope he doesn't have an aneurysm over this. Maybe his family could spread his ashes over the lush, rolling hills of Cyprus.
Goodbye, John M. |
